Angelina Jolie was rushed to the hospital on Friday (May 29) after injuring herself on the Long Island set of her new movie, Salt.
TMZ reports the 33-year-old actress “bumped her head, getting some sort of nick in between her eyes. She bled a bit and was taken to the hospital. Her manager tells us she was doing a stunt when the incident occurred.”
The film’s production company released a statement, saying, “This morning while filming an action sequence… Angelina Jolie sustained a minor injury. As a precautionary measure, Ms. Jolie will be taken to the hospital and examined. Production on the film has resumed.”

Johnny Depp finishes filming his last few scenes and then pops open a cold bottle of cerveza after wrapping up Public Enemies in Arcadia, Calif. on Monday.
Depp, 45, had a bag of gifts for the cast and crew that he passed around the set. Stephen Dorff received an antique wooden toy pistol as they toasted to coronas.
Public Enemies is due to be released in July 2009.
