David Beckham Shows Off His Rosy Anniversary Tattoo

David Beckham didn’t get his wife, Victoria Beckham, any ordinary anniversary gift to celebrate 10 years of marriage: He got a tattoo.

“Yeah, I 10 roses around my arms,” the inked soccer, 34, star tells Ellen DeGeneres on the Sept. 8 season premiere of her chat show.

DeGeneres then wonders aloud if Beckham ever thinks about “getting a tattoo of me anywhere on your body.” He replies: “I’m very tempted.”

As for how he and Victoria, 35, keep their marriage fresh after 10 years and three kids together, he says, “We always try to do special things. It’s not always about buying gifts for each other. We just make sure that we spend time together or go for dinner together and do special things. That is important to us.”

One of the things they did together was pose in some sexy Emporio Armani underwear ads. “We never get a chance to work together and when we do, it’s amazing,” says Beckham. “It was great to work with her on the day

Brad Pitt Calls Tom Cruise’s Nazi Flick ‘Ridiculous’

Posted on 23 Aug 2009 at 1:01pm

As far as Brad Pitt is concerned, his new film Inglourious Basterds is the be all and end all of Nazi movies.

“The second World War could still deliver more stories and films, but I believe that Quentin put a cover on that pot. With Basterds, everything than can be said to this genre has been said,” Pitt tells the German magazine Stern. “The film destroys every symbol. The work is done, end of story.”

As for another WWII Hitler assassination movie with a famous Hollywood star, he says there is no comparison. When the Stern reporter mentioned Tom Cruise’s recent turn in a film about a real plot to kill Hitler, Pitt simply said, “It was a ridiculous movie.” Continue

INSIDE STORY: Sean Penn & Robin Wright’s Rocky Relationship

Posted on 23 Aug 2009 at 12:59pm

When Sean Penn and Robin Wright Penn attended the 2009 Academy Awards together in February, the couple – whose 13-year marriage had its share of ups and downs over the past two years – seemed to be on-again.

But six months later, the reconciliation ended with Wright filing for divorce Aug. 12. According to the legal papers in Marin County, Calif., the estranged couple “agreed to division of all property” and “ custody” of son Hopper Jack, 16. They also have a daughter together, Dylan, 18.

The legal action culminates their roller-coaster relationship, which started when both Wright, 43, and Penn, 49, filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences,” on separate occasions in December 2007.

Marital Phases

The two, who had been together since 1989 and got married in 1993, stopped the divorce proceedings in April 2008. The same day the court clerk dismissed the petition at their request, they were seen together at an Eddie Vedder concert in San Francisco. Continue

Katie Holmes was left shaken after a car she had been sat in on a film set caught fire seconds after she got out of it.

The 30-year-old actress narrowly escaped disaster over the weekend while filming in Australia for her new horror flick Don’t Be Afraid Of The Dark.

She has been left ’shaken’ after the car battery began erupting sparks and fumes and then burst into fire moments after she vacated the vehicle.

Brad Pitt Talks Twitter, Texting & Online Dating

Posted on 16 Jul 2009 at 10:26am

Brad Pitt offers some tongue-and-cheek cell phone and online etiquette tips when it comes to twitter, online dating and text messaging.

Wired magazine asked Pitt what he thought of tweeting a picture of his wife’s butt like Ashton Kutcher did of Demi Moore. He responds “Don’t take a picture of your wife’s butt. That’s silly. Take pictures of other people’s wives’ butts.”

As for online dating, the ‘Inglourious Basterds’ actor thinks that lying about how much money you make on your profile is accepted and encouraged. “Everyone lies online. In fact, readers expect you to lie. If you don’t, they’ll think you make less than you actually do. So the only way to tell the truth is to lie.”

Wired also asked Pitt in their “Ask a Basterd” article: Can I talk on the phone while taking a whiz? He answers, “No, you can’t talk on the phone! Do you want the guy next to you to hear your entire conversation? That’s why you should only text in the bathroom. Just be sure you don’t hit the wrong button and end up putting a photo of your junk on Twitter. Trust me, you don’t want those followers.”

The Farrelly brothers will work on the Stooges movie after filming Walter the Farting Dog with the Jonas Brothers this spring.

Johnny may have to get a Moe bowl haircut!

DO YOU THINK Johnny would be a great Stooge — YAY or NAY?

Sarah Palin's Resignation Stuns Father-In-Law

Sarah Palin’s Resignation Stuns Father-In-Law

Posted on 07 Jul 2009 at 10:33am

On the night before Sarah Palin resigned as governor of Alaska, her husband Todd Palin dialed the cell number of his father, Jim. “Sarah’s making an announcement tomorrow. Can you be there?”

Jim Palin was more than 200 miles away in Kenai, preparing for a salmon fishing trip with friends. He had no clue why his son was calling, or the nature of the announcement. “I didn’t know what was coming and I didn’t ask,” he said. “I couldn’t get back because I had a commitment. If I had been home, I would have been there,” he says.

Early the next morning, Jim went fishing and landed his biggest salmon yet – a 60-lb. King. Then a little after 11 a.m. he got another whopper – news that his famous daughter-in-law was quitting her job as governor of Alaska. “Wow!” he said after reading the bulletin on his email. “We had no idea it was coming. Nobody seemed to know; they’re extremely private people.”

Jim, who along with his wife Faye, joined Todd and Sarah on the campaign trail last fall when Palin was running for vice president on the GOP ticket with John McCain, says he wasn’t privy to the details that went into Sarah’s decision. Continue

Guerrilla comic Sacha Baron Cohen takes riotous aim at homophobia. Plus, the even more subversive Humpday.

If the latest Sacha Baron Cohen provocation, Brüno, seems less sadistic than Borat, it’s because wagging one’s gay butt in the face of potentially violent homophobes is not just aggressive, it’s borderline suicidal. I mean: Brüno puts the moves on hunters with guns. In The Hurt Locker, journalist Chris Hedges is quoted saying war can be a drug, “a potent and often lethal addiction”—and Baron Cohen is a genuine comic guerrilla, charging right to the front lines of the war against prejudice and sanctimony. What’s open to debate is whether he’s also a comic gorilla—a cheap-shot artist, a mauler. Continue

David and Victoria Beckham: The Family That Strips Together…

Posted on 03 Jul 2009 at 1:11am

We’ve seen David Beckham in his skivvies. And we’ve seen Victoria Beckham in her scanties. But we’ve never seen the two of them together in their underwear—except in our dreams—until now.

The soccer stud and his Posh bride have teamed up for Emporio Armani underwear’s fall 2009 ad campaign, lying atop a thick, coiled rope in what is perhaps a metaphor for their marriage.

The ad, lensed by fashion photogs Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, was shot in Milan, Italy—which, aside from serving as the location of Armani’s headquarters, is where Beckham has been kicking some balls around lately.

Look for the ads to start showing up in fashion magazines and on billboards in major cities this month.

In the meantime, sound off in the comments section: What do you think of the Beckhams’ new underwear ad?
